Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of OccasionList (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Who we are

OccasionList is a UK-based marketplace that helps clients discover, shortlist and enquire with event vendors. We are not party to the contract between clients and vendors.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.

3. Vendor listings

Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, availability information and quotes. All bookings and payments are arranged directly between client and vendor unless stated otherwise. Availability shown on the Platform is indicative and must be confirmed directly with the vendor before booking.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including (without limitation) impersonating other users, scraping content, posting unlawful or misleading material, or attempting to interfere with the Platform's security.

5. Reviews

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We may remove reviews that are abusive, defamatory, or appear to be fake.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OccasionList is not liable for losses arising out of the contract or interaction between clients and vendors. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury or fraudulent misrepresentation.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
